Did some reading on the German Enigma machine, an incredibly sophisticated and well-designed code machine used in World War II. I've still got loads of reading to do, but it feels good that I'm getting on with some.
My good friend Dr Edward Bearskin called for a long chat. He and his girlfriend will be spending 6 months traveling this year. He will be going to China and Japan, among other countries. I aim to meet up with him at least once if possible.
